All of SOCCO events and activities are fully dependent on our members volunteering their time, talents and blessings, and we endeavor to meet each other's needs through as many various programs as our members make possible.  The "open-house" activities are open to non-members and provide a great way to get to know us before becoming a member.

Open-house Activities: (open to members & non-members alike) 

  Mom's Time-Out:  A time for just us moms!  Come join us for fellowship and fun as we get to know one-another, encourage each other with discussions and prayer, and maybe enjoy a cup of coffee, a game or a craft.  We meet once a month and members host this in various locations, so contact us for details on the next MTO.

  Park Days & Summer Beach Days:  Let's get out and play!  Members host these activities at various parks and beaches in the south end of Orange county, about twice a month.  Find out when the next one is and come join us for some outdoor fun! (Parents are responsible for their own children at all activities--these are not drop-off events.)

Members-only Events:

  Group Meetings:  Members volunteer to coordinate a variety of events from September through May.  The large group setting allows our children opportunities to perform, make a presentation, develop public speaking skills, and also for celebrations and any other purpose that best facilitates our families working together. The location, cost and time of our meeting are all determined by the member willing to coordinate the event and the facility hosting our group.  All events are completely dependant on SOCCO members volunteering to help with coordinating, assisting or teaching.

  More Members-only Activities:  Every SOCCO family member is welcome to offer anything that would benefit the other members, including: field trips, fundraisers, family cook-outs, holiday celebrations, classes, clubs, co-ops, service opportunities, yearbook committee, and more! 

SOCCO is a support group for the entire family, and does not sponsor "drop-off" type activities. Parents are responsible for their own children at all events as we look forward to getting to know everyone!
